Broken is a story of two Robots living behind a television screen.
When the big screen accidentally gets destroyed by a loose pipe they get confronted with the world outside.
This does not only bring the excitement of new freedom, but comes with unsuspected dangers as well.
This is a student project I did together with with David Shelton and Stefan Weinberg. Christian Herber and Oliver Korte were involved in the sound design. It was the first time I got involved in producing stereoscopig content. Broken was awarded with the third place at the Invazion 3D challenge in 2009 and won a silver ITVA award in the same year. It was also screened at the Short Shorts Film Festival in Tokyo, Japan in 2010.
Here is the monoscopic version for everyone who hasn’t 3D glasses at hand or wants to see the original colors.
